I fell in love with these types of bangles when I was inRajasthan India about 10 years ago. Women wear aminimum of 4 of these colorful bangles on their wrist at any given time. They aremade from lac,one of the oldest types of materials and among the most brittle. Lac is a resinous material, secreted by insects (lacbeetle, which is collected and molded in hot kilns to make these bangles.
